Hi and welcome to my website. I became co-owner of Hair Affair in 1997. I bought the salon and business with Lynda Hodges, we were then and now, very good friends but Lyn decided to have a family so I decided it was time for me to "go it alone", that was 6 years ago!
Bodenham Salon was bought 12 months after Marden so we were kept very busy but enjoyed every moment.
I consider myself very lucky as I really enjoy my job so much, I would not want any other career. Over the years I have been back to college to update and gain new qualifications, such as NVQ level 3 in advanced hairdressing, Customer service NVQ level 3 and continue to keep updated with the latest techniques by attending courses in Birmingham and London.(I will be attending a workshop in Birmingham with Patrick Cameron in April 2009, this course is specialty"hair ups" and bridal hair, really looking forward to attending. I thrive on being busy and could not imagine having a quiet day! I could not have a great business if I did not have the fantastic and reliable team I have.... so click on the photos to hear about them! We hope you enjoy our website.

Lucy ~ NVQ Level 3 ~ has been with Hair Affair for 6 years , starting as
a "saturday girl", then left school and decided hairdressing was the career
she wanted. Everyone knows Lucy , she is most definitely one of the most
talkative stylists on the team ! but we would not want her any other way.
Lucy is excellent at colouring, foils, slices,flashes and enjoys putting
hair up. Lucy will be joining me on a course in April 2009 for a special
"hair ups" and Bridal hair workshop. Lucy works in both Salons and is full
time.
~ Lyn ~ was my business partner until a few years ago, but she has come
back to the salon doing 2 days hairdressing, she is as busy as ever but
nobody is surprised as her hairdressing talents have always been “perfection”.
Cutting is definitely one of Lynda’s strong areas 
~ Ruth ~ has over 30 years experience and has been at Hair Affair 2 for
11 years and without her the Bodenham Salon would not be the same. Ruth
is nearly always fully booked so appointments always need to be made in
advance.... but it is worth the wait!(nobody blow drys like Ruth !)
~ Caroline ~ has over 20 years with a few years off to have her children(my
nieces who also help out as "saturday girls"). Caz works at both Marden
and Bodenham Salons and everyone who meets Caz says the same thing .....
happy, helpful and great with all ages. Caz enjoys all aspects of hairdressing.
~ Anne ~ Receptionist and Shampooist ~ has been with Hair Affair for 11
years and is a major part of the team. Anne is always there to meet and
greet our customers and put a smile on everyone's face.
~ Charlotte ~ is a part time "saturday girl" in Bodenham Salon, always got
a smile on her face and eager to help, like her older sister Lisa-Jai. We
don't think she will make a career in hairdressing so we continue to enjoy
her around until Charlotte decides to move on.
~ Hilary ~ works 2 days a week at both salons as well as running her own
successful business. Hilary specialises in bridal hair and “put ups” for
special occasions – her work is fantastic.
~ Lisa Jai ~ is a "saturday girl" in Marden, unfortunately not going to
make her career in hairdressing - a great shame as she follows her mum(Caroline)
having a real flair for hairdressing, so we are making the most of the time
we have with her at the Salon.
